Recent rumours have been speculating on the release date of Office 2013, and January 29th has popped up numerous times, but today it may have been confirmed as a pre-order page for the product has begun appearing on retailer websites and has a release date of January 29.

Various other sources have also confirmed that January 29 is the date for Office 2013, and probably unsurprisingly was rumoured to be the date for the Surface Pro launch too, maybe Microsoft will launch them both side by side, maybe even sell Office 2013 as an add-on to the Surface Pro, just like the Touch and Type covers.

Office 2013 is set to sell at a base point of $139 for the Home and Student version, and will range all the way up to $499 for the Professional Plus edition, according to recent rumours.
