O2 starts rolling out Lumia Denim for the Lumia 925 and 1020

Not too long ago, Microsoft confirmed that Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim will start rolling out for the Lumia 925 and 1020 in Europe. Carrier versions are usually a little late when it comes to releasing updates, but the same cannot be said for O2 in the UK, at least for now.

The carrier announced they have started rolling out the Lumia Denim update for the Lumia 925 and Lumia 1020 in the UK as we speak. The update is rolled out in phases so you may have to wait for a few days before it reaches you, so don’t panic. The carrier also announced they are working on the updates for other Windows Phone handsets as well which should go out “soon”. If you’re in possession of any of the above mentioned devices tied to O2, you may want to check your device for an update, or manually check for it if you can’t wait for the OTA to arrive.

The latest Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim comes with a handful of new features and improvements for the handsets. With the latest update, users will be able to use Microsoft’s digital personal assistant Cortana, ability to create folders on the Start screen, updated StoryTeller and Selfie Nokia apps, improved glance screen and much more. You can check out the complete list of features here.
