Nvidia has rolled out an updated beta graphics driver for those with an Nvidia graphics card running on either Microsoft’s Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 Preview operating system. This driver is also a “recommended driver update” for those on Windows 8.1 Preview.

“This Game Ready driver offers the best gaming experience for Splinter Cell: Blacklist and is also a recommended driver update for the Windows 8.1 Preview. GeForce R326 drivers also provide performance increases for a variety of different games,” Nvidia stated on the driver download page.

This beta driver increases performance up to 19% for those who own a GeForce 400, 500 ,600, or 700 series GPU, compared to the previously released 320.49 WHQL driver release. For example, in GTX 770, there is a 15% improvement when playing Dirt Showdown and a 6% improvement when playing Tomb Raider.

Hit the download links below to snag your flavor of the beta driver. Let us know in the comments below if you notice anything different in Windows 8.1 thanks to these new drivers.
