Yesterday at GDC, NVIDIA announced  the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti, the company’s new flagship GPU based on the NVIDIA Pascal architecture. NVIDIA Ceo Jen-Hsun called the new graphics card the “ultimate GeForce,” featuring 3584 NVIDIA CUDA cores and 11GB of GDDR5X memory running at 11Gbps. The GeForce GTX 1080 Ti also introduces a new thermal system with vapor chamber cooling that should provide better heat dissipation in all circumstances.

“Coming out of the box, the stock out of the box 1080 Ti is 35 percent faster than a 1080, faster than a Titan X, and all of that for $699,” added the CEO. The new GPU also supports all the advanced graphics technologies that serious PC gamers care about such as 4K, VR, NVIDIA G-SYNC HDR and NVIDIA GameWorks.

The GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Founders Edition will be available to pre-order on NVIDIA’s website starting tomorrow, March 2, at 8AM PST. All 1080 Ti GPUs, including those from NVIDIA GeForce partners such as ASUS and MSI will be available worldwide starting March 10, let us know in the comments if you plan to purchase one!
