The upcoming Nokia Lumia 630 is a Windows Phone with a difference. It is notable because — aside from the fact that it is yet to be released — leaked image appear to indicate that it has on-screen buttons. A new listing has appeared on the FCC (Federal Communications Commissions) which could just be this particular smartphone.
The listing appeared today — 6 March (although the documents are actually dated February) — and the device is referred to as the RM-976. Sadly there are no great revelations made about what we can expect to see from this particular phone, but some stats such as the rumored dimensions are in line with what is expected.
While no mention is made in the FCC submissions, the RM-976 (or Lumia 630) appears to be a standard single-SIM handset, and there is talk about a possible dual-SIM version in a handset that is being referred to as the Lumia 635.
We already know (or think we do, at least) that Nokia has an announcement planned for 19 April. It is quite possible that we’ll get official confirmation of the 630 and 635, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
