Nokia October 22nd Event

\

Nokia is set to hold an event on October 22nd in Abu Dhabi and the company is rumored to reveal new Lumia devices along with the rumored Lumia 2520 Windows RT tablet. Now, according to a new report, specs and Verizon release date for this Windows RT tablet from Nokia have been revealed ahead of schedule.

\

The Lumia 2520 is rumored to be a 10.1-inch 1920 x 1080 Windows 8.1 RT tablet, priced at $499 on Verizon. This device also features a 32GB of internal storage and a 2.15GHz quad-core Qualcomm 8974 (ARM) chipset. There is also a 6.7 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and the device weights 1.3 pounds.

\

The tablet also supports LTE/4G connectivity and we are expecting to see either a black or red color option, if not both colors.

\

AT&T is also rumored to receive the Lumia 2520 and both carriers might see it in November of this year. Verizon, specifically, might see this device on November 17th or the 18th. The Lumia 2520 has already passed the FCC so its only a matter of time before we see this device make its appearance.

\

Nokia is expected to unveil this device on October 22nd, so stay tuned!

\

The device is expected to roll out in black, white, red, and cyan. Here is a leaked press render of the cyan Lumia 2520, courtesy of @evleaks:
