Nokia X available for a discounted price at Flipkart, Airtel has an offer you can’t refuse

Nokia X available for a discounted price of Rs. 7175 at Flipkart, apart from coming with an Airtel offer.

If you are living in India, you can buy a Nokia X handset for as cheap as 7,175 INR. The nation’s leading e-commerce website, Flipkart is selling the phone at a massively discounted price. The phone originally costs Rs 8599.

In another offer, the leading mobile telecom operator in India, Airtel is giving 500 MB of 3G data per month for three months to all Nokia X users. Both new and existing users will be able to snag the 500MB data, Airtel confirmed. In case your region doesn’t have 3G network, you can use the 500MB data on 2G.

For a refresher, Nokia X is the company’s first Android-powered handset. It runs on Android Open Source Project but lacks Google mobile services such as Gmail, PlayStore, Google Maps etc. Instead, the handset promotes Microsoft and Nokia services.

It has received an overwhelming response from several Asian markets, including India and China. The phone sports a 4-inch WVGA (800×480 pixels) LCD display with 233ppi density. It is powered by 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor and hosts a 512MB of RAM, and 4GB of internal storage. You can expand it up to 32GB via microSD card. It has a 3MP camera on the back, though a front facing camera is missing. The 1,500mAh battery isn’t too much either. Support for WiFi, 3G and dual SIM card, however add some value to the phone.
