Nokia lumia 638 with 1 gb ram and 4g connectivity up for pre-sale on china ratailer

Sometimes there are just so many Lumia devices, that it becomes hard to keep track of all of them, especially, since many of these devices – due to their availability, network preference, or other minor factors – are just too similar. Recently we heard about the Lumia 638, however, the source wasn’t reliable so we decided not to run it. However, a new report has shed some light on it, so apparently, Lumia 638 does exist, and is evidently up for pre-order at a Chinese retailer.

First spotted by NokiaWPblog, Shanxi Mobile, a Chinese retailer has put Lumia 638 for pre-order. From what we could gather – after translating the page – the Lumia 638 is very much like the Lumia 630 that was launched in India earlier this month, except that it has 1GB of RAM and 4G connectivity – two of the most anticipated features you would want in an affordable Lumia smartphone.

Other than that, there isn’t much of a difference between the Lumia 630 and 638 — mind you, the page doesn’t really reveal much other than the fact that it has 1.2GHz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor. The handset is priced at 1129 Yuan ($190). Needless to say, at that price point the phone is pretty decent! If you’re in China, you can pre-order the device from the Via link below.
