Nokia accounts for 92.6% of all Windows Phone devices worldwide, Lumia 520 still the most popular

New data from AdDuplex has been released today, giving us an idea of just how dominant Nokia has become in the Windows Phone market. According to the data, Nokia accounts for 92.6% of all Windows Phone devices worldwide as of February 2014. The Nokia Lumia 520 is also the most popular Windows Phone device.

“This report is based on data collected from 3310 Windows Phone apps running AdDuplex SDK v.2. The raw data analyzed was collected over the day of February 18th, 2014 unless otherwise stated. We have made every attempt to consolidate different reported phone model names under their canonical retail model names, but it is possible that some of the rare model name variations were not accounted for,” AdDuplex stated in an official blog post.

According to the data, the Lumia 520 holds a 33% market share, while the Lumia 920 holds a 7.4% share. In just one month, from January to February, Nokia has earned an additional 0.3% in share, dominating the Windows Phone market with a 92.6% share.

In the United States, the Lumia 521 is the most popular Windows Phone device, with a share of 27.4%. AT&T is the most popular Windows Phone carrier, with a 36.3% share.
