Nextgen Reader for Windows Phone gets another update, adds bug fixes and more

Nextgen Reader for Windows Phone got an update today. Nextgen Reader is one of the best RSS readers for Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone and is currently a universal Windows app. At just $2.49, it is an affordable Windows app that gives you the latest news on all your favorite RSS feeds.

The latest Nextgen Reader update brings the version to 6.4.0.24 and brings the following improvements:

  • Show profile picture on main page (if no profile picture is available via Feedly, app will show default logo)

  • Added option to disable profile picture via settings in app

  • Switched to Google url shortener
  • \

  • General improvements and fixes

There is a known issue within Nextgen Reader; you need to unpin and re-pin secondary live tiles or reboot your device after update to fix live tiles. So head on over to the Windows Phone Store or Windows Store and pick up NextGen Reader for just $2.49 via the download links below.
