Over the past few days, Gabe Aul has hinted at newer builds for Windows and Windows Mobile could be upon Insiders. Alongside Gabe’s cryptic tweets, enthusiastic Insiders have also been peppered with leaked screenshots, videos and news about upcoming features and fixes.

Hey #WindowsInsiders! New build for phones today – 10149 now available on the Fast ring! http://t.co/Vm4OAaulAK

— Gabriel Aul (@GabeAul) June 25, 2015

Well, it would seem the wait is over. Just a few minutes ago, Gabe and the Windows team pushed the button on releasing build 10149 for Windows Mobile Insiders. As with most builds, build 10149 comes with one big warning
Please read the following before updating:

SUPER IMPORTANT TO READ THIS (again): The post-upgrade migration status screen is still missing after upgrading to this build that normally shows you the progress of the post-upgrade migration. After upgrading, the Lock screen will appear frozen without the date and time for up to 10 minutes. Please be patient and let it sit – eventually the date and time will appear, and it will allow you to unlock your phone. If you get impatient and restart or mess with locking/unlocking your phone, you’ll wind up in a funky state – so just relax and let it do its thing.

Happy Previewing Insiders!
