The open-ended roleplaying video game Stardew Valley launched on the Xbox One recently and despite it being rather popular with gamers has suffered from a rather serious bug that’s been corrupting save files and preventing players from continuing from where they left off.

The developer behind Stardew Valley, ConcernedApe, announced in a blog post on the official Stardew Valley website earlier today that an update is being worked on that will fix these save issues. It will be pushed out to consoles in early February after more testing is done. Once this update is downloaded, it should fix the corrupted files and players will no longer have problems saving their progress. Several other unspecified problems will also be fixed.

Are you a fan of Stardew Valley and have you encountered any problems since downloading it on your Xbox One? Let us know in the comments below.
