After the release of the 10 Star Wars tables for Pinball FX2 on Xbox 360, Xbox One and Windows 8.1, most people assumed those tables were all that would be released. I mean, 10 pinball tables based on a single franchise is more than enough, right? Well, apparently not as Pinball FX2 creators Zen Studios just announced in a blog post on their site that they’ll be releasing a new Star Wars pinball table based on the new (and very cool) cartoon series, Star Wars Rebels.
The new table, Star Wars Pinball: Star Wars Rebels, promises to incorporate characters and locations from the show set in the mysterious time period between Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope and is set for release during the week of April 27, 2015 on Xbox 360, Xbox One and Windows 8.1 in addition to other platforms.
Here’s the official description of the new table:
“Star Wars Pinball: Star Wars Rebels will take players on a journey to a galaxy far, far away, teaming them up with the crew of the starship Ghost, including Kanan Jarrus, Ezra Bridger, Zeb Orrelios, Sabine Wren, Hera Syndulla and the grumpy astromech Droid Chopper as they join forces to take on the evil Empire. The table will feature fully-animated starships including the Ghost and TIE fighters, a flaming engine thruster spindisk, Chopper’s own mini playfield, and seven exciting missions inspired by the show.”
Zen Studios has long been a supporter of cross-buy with their content. Those who buy pinball tables on their Xbox 360 are currently able to download their purchases on Xbox One and with the launch of Windows 10 later in the year, players will be able to sync their table purchases between Windows 10 devices and Xbox One consoles for a truly seamless gaming experience.
