Seasons after Fall, a puzzle platformer game developed by indie studio Swing Swing Submarine was released on Windows earlier this month to critical acclaim. The games seems to have an impressive artistic direction and looks a bit familiar to Ori And The Blind Forest, another platform-adventure game released by Microsoft Studios on the Xbox One in 2015 and Windows 10 a year later.

In Seasons After Fall, you play a wild fox which has the ability to change the seasons at will and create new paths in the transforming environment. Following the warm reception, the developer has announced this week that the game will be released on the Xbox One and Playstation 4 in early 2017, with Mac OSX and Linux to be released sometime later (via Reddit).

Please find below the official’s game description along with the launch trailer:

As a wild fox you are sent on a perilous journey aided only by your ability to change the seasons at will, manipulating a gorgeous 2D world backed by an enchanting live string quartet.

Summon the power of Winter to freeze a lake solid, or call upon Spring to make trees and flowers grow. The world is yours to manipulate as you travel across forests, rivers, and caves, in order to unveil the secrets of this world and complete a sacred ritual. Each season is protected by a Guardian and it is up to you to master the seasons they grant you.

We’re looking forward to play this game on the Xbox One, but in the meantime you could get the Windows version on Steam for $14.99. Let us know in the comments if you’re excited to play this game.
