New Backward Compatibility Games For Xbox One To Be Revealed Monthly – onmsft.com

In November, Microsoft released the New Xbox One Experience, a free upgrade to the Xbox One that brings a redesigned interface, as well as a new backward compatibility feature. Microsoft has already rolled out over one hundred Xbox 360 backward compatible games for the Xbox One, and the news only gets sweeter.
Microsoft’s head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, has revealed on Twitter that we can all expect the next batch of backward compatible games to be revealed on a monthly basis. “We will announce news monthly, don’t have a specific date for each month’s list,” he says.

It sounds like these announcements will be similar to the Xbox Live Games with Gold releases that take place monthly. For those who are Xbox Live Gold subscribers, all future Games with Gold titles for Xbox 360 will be playable on Xbox One, giving you double the free games to play each month thanks to Xbox One backward compatibility. How cool is that?!
