Music Deals offers discounts on a bunch of Katy Perry albums, The Decemberists and more

Music Deals is dropping the price on Katy Perry’s hit albums by 40% in anticipation of her Super Bowl Sunday halftime show performance. The deals on Katy Perry’s albums, including “PRISM,” “Teenage Dream,” and “One of the Boys,” are available until February 9th. Music Deals is also offering a contest for a chance to win a Katy Perry-themed prize pack.

You can also pick up the newest Decemberists release, “What a Terrible World, What a Beautiful World” for $7.99. The Decemberists album deal is available until February 2nd. If you like the classic music from the 1970’s, you can pick up Carole King’s “Tapestry,” for $6.99 until February 2nd as well.

I am not too familiar with Katy Perry’s music, except for when I heard “Firework” in the movie, The Interview. A Bing search turned up more information on her albums and a great YouTube video. I came across a Super Bowl interview where a reporter gets Rob Gronkowski of the New England Patriots to belt out a few verses of Katy Perry’s song, “Roar,” off her album, “PRISM.” Gronkowski nervously plays along, before escaping to go “get his Xbox.” Check out the YouTube video below.

If you haven’t done so already, you can download the Music Deals app for Windows and Windows Phone over at the download links below.
