MSN re-branding continues for the Bing app suite on Windows 8.1, new updates rolling out now

\n

Last night, Microsoft rolled out updates to the Bing app suite for Windows Phone, dropping the Bing brand name in favor of MSN. The company also rolled out an update to the Bing Finance app, renaming it to MSN Money — for both Windows Phone and Windows 8.1.

\n

Now, Microsoft is rolling out updates for the desktop variants of the Bing app suite. This means News, Weather, Travel, Sports, Health & Fitness, and Food & Drink for Windows 8.1 are also dropping the Bing brand name in favor of MSN.

\n

Head over to the Windows Store and download these updates. So far, these updates simply change the brand name and no other improvements or fixes have been noticed. Let us know if you notice anything new.

\n

We’ve noticed that Bing Weather and Bing Translator have yet to be rebranded in the Windows Store, but we’re sure this will happen shortly.
