Minecraft Dungeons gets a first patch on Xbox One and Nintendo Switch to address multiplayer issues, more

If you’re playing Minecraft Dungeons, its time to download the game’s first patch, which addresses multiplayer problems and many more issues. This update only covers the Xbox One and Nintendo Switch versions of the game, and comes in at around 2GB in size.

On Xbox, Mojang has corrected the problem where players might get an infinite loading screen when accepting a game invite while the title was suspended during online gameplay. They’ve also fixed the issue where the game might crash during online multiplayer. Along with the stability improvements, the final fix is for an issue that caused the Corrupted Cauldron boss not to spawn in the Soggy Swamp mission when you played it in multiplayer.

As for the Nintendo Switch version, there are just two fixes: Data collection has been improved to help identify game crashes, and the game now has the correct naming across all languages. No word yet about patches for the PC and PlayStation 4 versions of the game, but hopefully these platforms will get some love soon. If you experience any issues, you can keep reporting them on bugs.mojang.com to bring them to the addition of the developers.
