The Microsoft-owned Clipchamp video editing tool today added support for the popular TikTok social network.

This new integration allows users to edit and export videos directly from Clipchamp to TikTok without having to save the file to a device and then upload it as a separate action.

A quick video of the process was published on the official Clipchamp Twitter account which can be watched below.

Announcement: We’ve integrated with @tiktok_us! 🎉 Create and share videos quicker than ever! #videoediting #tiktok #clipchamp pic.twitter.com/q5ui39NKNd

Clipchamp is a video editing tool that functions purely within a web browser and doesn’t require the installation of any additional app or software. Microsoft acquired Clipchamp just last month. It’s unclear if this TikTok integration is a result of the acquisition or was a feature in the pipeline from before the change of ownership.
