Microsoft: Windows 8 received over 1,240,000,000 hours of public testing

With the official launch of Windows 8 already behind us, Microsoft revealed some facts about the new operating system while it was in its testing phase. According to Microsoft’s Steven Sinofsky, Windows 8 received over 1,240,000,000 hours of public testing!

During a launch event today in New York City, Microsoft’s Steven Sinofsky stated that Windows 8 underwent 1,240,000,000 hours of public testing in 190 different countries! “No product anywhere receives this kind of testing anywhere in the world,” Sinofsky added. And as of today, the day Windows 8 launched, there are over 1,000 certified Windows 8 PCs.
