Microsoft released Windows 8.1 as a free update to Windows 8 users several hours ago and the company has also rolled out two new Windows 8.1 videos for your viewing pleasure.

In the first video, embedded below, Microsoft wants you to meet the new Windows 8.1. “Update to Windows 8.1 and discover new ways to personalize, great new apps, and your old familiar desktop. Updating is easy – and it’s free for Windows 8 users,” the video description reads. The video is a minute and a half long and showcases most of the new features in the operating system update. In the second video, which is a minute long, Microsoft shows off how no matter the device size, Windows 8.1 will “adjust to fit your life.”

Windows 8.1 brings a variety of new features and improvements to Windows 8, in response to consumer feedback and suggestions. Microsoft released the update for free to Windows 8 users on October 17th and Windows 8.1 hits general availability today.

Check out the videos embedded below. If you haven’t read our Windows 8.1 review yet, head over here to take a look at it.
