The Surface Pro, powered by Windows 8 Pro, was officially launched online at MicrosoftStore.com, as well as BestBuy and Staples, and within a few hours of launch, the 128GB model of the Surface Pro sold out at Microsoft’s online store. Now, Microsoft’s online store is offering the Surface Pro with a ship date of March 1st.

The 128GB Surface Pro, which does not come with a Touch or Type cover, runs for $999 and can be ordered online at MicrosoftStore.com, however, it wont ship until March 1st. “Starting right now, you can visit the online Microsoft Store (U.S.) and place an order for the 128GB Surface Pro that will ship within 2-3 weeks, based on incoming inventory. Once inventory is depleted, the system will show as “out of stock” until new inventory is available to ship,” Microsoft stated in an official blog post. BestBuy and Staples are also taking reservations for the Surface Pro.

Microsoft recently revealed that it was working to replenish supplies after the Surface Pro went out of stock within hours of its launch, and even offered an official statement promising consumers that they would restock supplies as soon as possible. Looks like Microsoft has kept their promise. Head over to MicrosoftStore.com to place your order. Hurry before it goes out of stock again!
