Microsoft Teams has been hit by another outage this morning preventing many users across the world from accessing the enterprise communication app. Microsoft initially said that the issues were impacting users in Europe and Asia, but the company has since acknowledged that the outage has been affecting users globally.
The good news is that the company has already deployed a fix and most users should now be able to use the app. “We’ve monitored the environment and confirmed that the service is performing as expected. If a user is still experiencing impact, they need to restart their clients to recover.,” the company said in its latest update about the outage.

The last serious Microsoft Teams outage was on April 1, when a DNS issue impacted Teams and several Microsoft services including Azure and Xbox Live. Today’s outage wasn’t as bad, and we’re glad to see that Microsoft was pretty quick to issue a fix.
