Microsoft targets Apple’s iPad and Siri in latest Windows 8 advertisement (video)

Less talking, more doing. That’s the tagline for the new Windows 8 video advertisement, which takes a jab at Apple’s iPad and Siri voice recognition. In the new video, Microsoft showcases how Windows 8 lets you use Office apps, such as PowerPoint, while the iPad can’t.

Using the Siri voice assistant, Microsoft pokes fun at the Apple iPad with phrases like “Sorry, I don’t update like that” and “I’m sorry, I can only do one thing at a time.” The most interesting thing about this video is that it mimic’s the way Apple does its commercials, complete with similar music.

At the end of the video, Microsoft showcases the price differences between a $699 Apple iPad 64GB and a $449 Asus VivoTab Smart 64GB powered by Windows 8. Check out the new video below.
