If you’re in the market for a fitness band that does double-duty as a smartwatch, then Microsoft’s Band has always been a great option. It’s a solid device with loads of functionality and a little personality, and that supports each of the important smartphone platforms. Released a little less than a year ago to little fanfare (and highly constrained inventory), the Band has been a popular little device for Microsoft.
Flash forward to today, when rumors are running a little hotter regarding the Band’s successor, the Band 2, that’s expected to be released at Microsoft’s October 6 Windows 10 hardware event. Windows Central points out that Best Buy is anticipating the release with a pretty hot deal, $99.99 for the original Band, which compares nicely to the product’s original price of $199.
As always, you can get the Band in small, medium, and large sizes, and while the Band 2 rumors hint at a device that looks nicely improved, the original Band remains a solid choice. Head on over to Best Buy and get yours, before time and inventory run out.
