Microsoft is shifting the dates of its partner-driven Inspire conference by a week, from July 12 through the 13, to July 19 through the 20.

In a post on the Microsoft Partner Network blog, the company gave out the final deadline date to submit nominations for the Partner of the Year Award as of yesterday, April 5, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. PT, alongside a scheduling note that Inspire 2022 would be changing dates.

The dates for Microsoft Inspire 2022 have changed to July 19–20, 2022, please mark your calendars. It will remain a global digital event, and we look forward to welcoming our partners from around the world to participate. Registration will open in June, and we’ll share more as that date approaches. Also, a reminder that Partner of the Year Award nominations will close today, April 5 at 6:00 pm PST, so please submit yours today. We look forward to celebrating our winners at Inspire in July!

In addition to the scheduling note, Microsoft also updated its partners nominees with news about two awards being added to the roster that include:

  • The Operational Excellence Award for partners who are committed to and recognize the importance of operational excellence to drive partner profitability, digital transformation, consumption, and customer loyalty.
  • The Compliance Award for partners enabling customer success by delivering expertise through the technologies within the Microsoft Compliance product portfolio and advising customers as they navigate today’s compliance challenges.

Despite the relatively early notice about dates, registration for Inspire 2022 won’t open until June 2022. On the positive side, there will be no cost to attend as it will be a purely digital event this year, similar to last year.

To keep up with the news, Microsoft is encouraging partners to follow their social media platforms for the latest information.
