Microsoft rolls out Visual Studio 2013 Update 3 Release Candidate

Attention developers, Microsoft has rolled out Visual Studio 2013 Update 3 Release Candidate. This is the last preview release before the update is is officially released for production environments. According to Microsoft, you can upgrade this update to production environments once the final update is made available.

“Today, we are happy to announce the availability of Visual Studio 2013 Update 3 (Visual Studio 2013.3) Release Candidate (RC). This release includes some exciting new features, including: support for more ways to deploy your app using DSC, PowerShell, or Chef; customization for test plans and test suites; and the addition of Application Insights Tools to Visual Studio. This update is the latest in a cumulative series of feature additions and bug fixes for Visual Studio 2013. In addition, several Visual Studio 2013 products are available for download with Update 3 included,” Microsoft stated in an official blog post.

Microsoft is expected to roll out Update 3 in the next month or two. However, if you haven’t already done so, hit the download link to snag the Release Candidate. Head over to the VIA links below to check out the change log.
