Microsoft Recaps Indie Games Shown For Xbox One At E3 – onmsft.com

recap

In recent years, there has been something of a backlash away from the ‘mainstream’ of games. So called ‘indie’ games are at an all-time high of popularity, something that is no doubt down to, and despite, the attentions of big publishers.

The likes of Microsoft have been keen to show off their indie credentials to the public, something that was eminently apparent at the firm’s recent E3 show. A recap of all indie titles featured has now been released at Xbox.com

Included in the list are: Ashen, Cuphead, Tacoma, Beyond Eyes, The Flame in the Flood, Super Hot, Game Four, Goat Simulator: Mmore Goatz Edition, ION, The Long Dark, Sheltered and DayZ.

With many exclusive titles for the Xbox One, Microsoft clearly want to make its platform the place for indie developers to be seen, and gamers to be seen playing, though whether this will be successful is of course a matter of time.

Will you be picking up any of these titles? Let us know in the comments below.
