Microsoft offers Eminem's newest album for free via Xbox Music as part of Cyber Monday

Today is Cyber Monday – a day that consumers can snag on killer deals via online retail outlets. Microsoft, being in the spirit of Cyber Monday, is offering Eminem’s latest album – The Marshal Mathers LP2 – for free via Xbox Music.

“Cyber Monday may be a day to find great deals online, but there’s no better deal than “free.” Over the past few years, Eminem has been the #1 artist on Xbox Music; so today we invite Windows 8 and Windows Phone users in the US to download Eminem’s newest album, Marshall Mathers LP 2, absolutely free,” Microsoft’s Major Nelson stated in an official blog post.

To snag this free album, heres what you have to do. First, launch Xbox Music on Windows 8.1 or Windows Phone 8 and login using your Microsoft Account. Then, search for Eminem and click though to his artist page. Find “The Marshal Mathers LP2 (Deluxe)” album and follow the steps to purchase. Finally, the price has been set to free so you won’t have to pay a penny.

Microsoft is also offering all of Eminem’s previous albums for $0.99 in celebration of Cyber Monday.

You can also stream the entire Eminem catalog for free via music.xbox.com as well as stream Eminem’s full catalog via your Xbox console if you have a Music Pass and Xbox Live Gold membership.
