Microsoft Lumia 535, touted as the “5x5x5” smartphone, is now available in more Asian countries including Bangladesh and Pakistan. The handset costs Rs. 14,250 ($140) in Pakistan, while the price in Bangladesh is set to BDT 11,499 (almost $148).
The first handset to launch with Microsoft branding is available in both regions, and offers a bigger 5-inch display sporting a resolution of 540 by 960 pixels, and runs Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim pre-installed out of the box. There’s a 5MP front-facing camera for video conferencing and Skype calls, as well as a 5MP primary camera for photos and videos.
Lumia 535 is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor, the same one as the Lumia 530, as well as 1GB of RAM and 8GB of expandable storage and a 1,905 mAh battery to make sure there’s enough juice for the handset. We’ll have our first impressions of the handset soon, followed by a full review for those who are stuck in the middle and are confused if it’s worth buying. Stay tuned.
