Microsoft is hiring, looking for a social media manager for the HoloLens

There is no doubt that the Microsoft HoloLens is a bold new product. It’s not every day that such a ground-breaking and innovative idea comes to market, so Microsoft has started gearing up for its imminent release.

Microsoft is looking for an experienced social media manager to lead the HoloLens campaign. Responsibilities include developing social media campaigns, managing the day-to-day activities of Microsoft’s social networks on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Tumblr (Microsoft has a Tumblr?) and others, working with social media agency partners to come up with new strategies, partnering with global marketing communication subsidiaries, analyze the social media community on a daily basis and more.

Candidates for the position will be required to have at least 3-5 years of progressive experience in social media marketing for a consumer brand with a bonus for those who have experience in managing social media for entertainment or hardware, a strong track record of managing high visibility, milti-million dollar social campaigns, solid project and time management skills, the ability to effectively communicate ideas, be a team player and be proficient in social listening tools and measurement techniques. Very importantly, one must be able to work under constant deadline pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
