Microsoft Edge’s free built-in video game is now all about snow and winter – OnMSFT.com

The Microsoft Edge browser’s built-in surfing video game updated this week and swapped out its retro beach setting for a wintery ski slope aesthetic.

The browser game works pretty much the same as before but instead of guiding a retro character over tropical watery waves, players are now tasked with skiing through a course packed with trees, buildings, and even a yeti.

“Get your winter clothes on and hit the slopes with a limited-time skiing theme for the surf game in Microsoft Edge 96!” a tweet from the official Microsoft Edge Dev twitter account announced this morning. “Can you avoid the yeti while taking a trip down memory lane?”

To play the game, all you need to do is open the Microsoft Edge web browser and enter edge://surf/ into the web address bar.
