Julia White, a Microsoft veteran and currently CVP of Product Marketing for Azure, Developer Tools, and Servers is leaving the company to join SAP (via ZDNet). The German company known for its ERP solutions has hired White as its new Chief marketing and solutions officer and new member of its executive board.

This is the second high-profile departure at Redmond this week after Brad Anderson, CVP of Commercial Management Experiences left Microsoft to join Qualtrics as President of Products & Services. Anderson had been working at Microsoft for 20 years, while White joined the company 18 years ago.

According to ZDNet, Microsoft has appointed Azure VP John Chirapurath as the interim marketing lead while the company will be searching for candidates to replace White. In recent years, we’ve seen the exec on the stage of many Microsoft annual conferences such as Ignite and Inspire, and we wish her the best in her future endeavors.
