A new portal has been added on Microsoft’s official website that lays out all the benefits of the company’s impending buyout of Activision Blizzard. Titled “Our vision for gaming: More choice and more games for people everywhere,” the page has an introduction that states that Microsoft and the Xbox team “want to enable people to play games anywhere, anytime and on any device.”

The “Our vision for gaming” page also charts the benefits of the Activision Blizzard deal, citing among them “More games on more devices including Xbox, PlayStation (interestingly), phones and online.” The chart also notes “Greater competition in traditional gaming, where Sony and Nintendo will remain the biggest,” as you can see above.
The page also includes a clip of Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella’s recent comments to Bloomberg on the ongoing progress of the Activision Blizzard deal.
The case being made on this new section of Microsoft’s site echoes what Xbox execs have been saying in response to criticism of the deal.
