Microsoft band users receive two week trial pass to gold's gym and workout plans to reach their fitness goals

\

Microsoft recently launched the Microsoft Band, a $199 fitness wearable that does more than just tell you how many calories you have burned or what your heart rate is. In fact, the Microsoft Band also helps you keep your phone in your pocket by offering you quick access to your emails and text messages. Taking things a step further, the Microsoft Band offers Cortana and productivity notifications.

\

Microsoft has partnered with Gold’s Gym to offer Microsoft Band owners a free two week trial pass to the world famous gym franchise. On top of that, you will be able to access customized 12-week workout plans created by a panel of world-class Gold’s Gym Fitness Institute celebrity trainers, with the ability to download workout plans directly to your Microsoft Band device.

\

“To help incentivize the nation to get fit and healthy, Gold’s Gym is giving all customers who purchase a Microsoft Band (retail or online), 2-weeks free access to their local participating Gold’s Gym from now until the end of the year.  To claim the 2-weeks trial membership, customers should bring their proof of purchase and Microsoft Band into their local Gold’s Gym (Current Gold’s Gym Members not eligible),” Gold’s Gym stated in an official press release.

\

A variety of Gold’s Gym curated workouts will be available for Microsoft Band users who are looking to shake up their routine, ranging from total-body workouts like the 30-Day Beach Body Workout and the Power of Plyometrics to body part-specific workouts that will help users sculpt various body parts like arms, chest, back, shoulders and butt.

\

“We’re excited to partner with Gold’s Gym as we introduce devices and services that help people live healthier and be more productive,” said Yusuf Mehdi, Corporate Vice President, Devices and Services, Microsoft. “We look forward to joining Gold’s Gym in our shared mission of helping people achieve their health and wellness goals.”

\

The Microsoft Band was made available for purchase on October 30th and has since been out of stock on the online Microsoft Store.
