Microsoft has announced today a fund investment in Zula, a startup that looks to streamlines mobile communication and productivity. Zula apparently impressed Microsoft during their presentation at TechCrunch Disrupt earlier this year and the devices and services giant “immediately saw the benefit” of a mobile-first, cross-organization communication app.
“We started with a focus on our team and how we could make it easier to collaborate on projects. We wanted a simple way to connect, share documents and make group calls that was built for a mobile team. We are thrilled by the investment with Microsoft Ventures and look forward to bringing our service to new customers around the world,” Zula’s chairman Jeff Pulver stated.
