Earlier on today, Microsoft managed to acquire Minit. Minit is an organization that majors in process mining technology, which helps businesses revolutionize the way they analyze and optimize their processes.  This acquisition comes after there had been talks that Microsoft was looking into acquiring Mandiant, Inc to beef up its cybersecurity in February.

Organizations that use Minit solutions get to develop a deeper understanding of how to run and operate the business, and at the same time also allow them to identify business bottlenecks. Through this, the organizations will be able to resolve their shortcomings and run their businesses at optimum levels.

This acquisition will further empower Microsoft to help our customers digitally transform and drive operational excellence by creating a complete picture of their business processes, enabling every process to be easily and automatically analyzed and improved. Customers will be able to better understand their process data, uncover what operations look like in reality and drive process standardization and improvement across the entire organization to ensure compliance at every step.

Plenty of businesses across the globe are currently looking to diversify their modes of operation which will ultimately promote longevity, and also accelerate their digital transformation plans. It is essential for a business to run both effectively and efficiently, however, most businesses owners are not able to achieve this because they are not able to analyze business performance properly. As such, they end up making decisions based on subjective information.

This is a clear indication of Microsoft’s commitment to ensuring that businesses and organizations are able to optimize their operations by “bringing data and execution together to unlock powerful insights.”
