After the debut of the cab-centric app Uber in India, things have started to change. Until recently, in a market that didn’t have many apps in this category, there are now a plethora of options available. In addition, we have the official app of LIC Mobile, now available on Windows Phone 8. So without further adieu, let’s see what’s in store.
MeruCabs

With a service valued at over $250 billion dollars, Life Insurance Company of India is the largest insurance company in the country. If you’re an LIC agent, you can also make use of the customer directory and premium calendar with due notifications regarding customer info. Another handy feature is the branch locator.
