The Master Chief Collection will be coming eariler for most than previously planned!

Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be available for pre-order and pre-download later today! The planned released date is still November 11th for North America, but it has been moved earlier than previously planned. Instead of a November 14th launch, the game will release on November 11th for the majority of users. Some countries will have a delay due to public holidays.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection is a combination of all four Halo games into a single package. All of this content nearly maxes out the 45GBs of a Blu-ray disk to deliver. In addition to a fully loaded disk there will be a 20GB content update at launch, luckily users can play a the campaign as the game is installing. 343 says they didn’t cut any corners when it came to bringing all of the Halo goodness into this collection.

While 343 was able to bring the release date earlier for most, the game will still not launch on November 11th for everyone. In Belgium the release will be on 12th, and France will get the collection on the 14th. Japan will see The Master Chief Collection hit shelves on the 13th of November. Most of these differences are because of public holidays or release tradition. It is amazing that the launch was made earlier for so many at all, it seems like when a developer releases an announcement about release date it’s usually not good news.
