Major Nelson announces his big pre-E3 party, chance to attend Xbox press briefing

Next week E3, the world’s biggest gaming show, kicks off, running June 10th through the 12th. Microsoft, as always will be a major player in the festivities, though there will be no new console announcement this time around. That does not mean the Xbox One will not loom large at the event, though.

Now Xbox Live chief Larry Hryb, also known as Major Nelson, is announcing some news about a pre-event party he is hosting, and it will have some potential benefits for attendees, also. “Today, we want to follow up with some more details about the Microsoft Store event this coming Sunday where we’ll be raffling off access to the Xbox E3 2014 Media Briefing”, Hryb says.

The event takes place on June 8th, to be specific, and it will happen at the Microsoft Century City store — 10250 Santa Monica Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90067– in case you’re in the area and don’t know the exact location. Things get kicked off at 11am local time and raffles take place at 11:15 and 12:45, with 100 total winners to be named. Hryb stresses that you must be at least 18 to attend the press briefing, and ID will be checked.

If you don’t win, not all is lost. You can head back to the store on Monday between 1-3pm for the chance to see the new games and perhaps even win one of them, among other giveaways. Good luck to those able to attend.
