Rejoice our Indian readers! The gorgeous 6-inch Lumia 1520 smartphone is ready to grab the Lumia Cyan update. Microsoft started the rollout of Windows Phone 8.1 and Lumia Cyan updates earlier this month. The said updates are already available for the Lumia 625 and the Lumia 925 worldwide.
For a recap, the Lumia Cyan update brings Windows Phone 8.1 update as well as some neat Lumia exclusive features. The headline features include the voice assistant Cortana, the Word Flow keyboard, Action Center, and the ability to customize tiles and add more icons on the Start screen. It should be noted that for those who have Windows Phone 8.1 developer preview installed on their handset, the update might not show up on the device just yet. There are two things that can be done here. One, you wait for Microsoft to provide an update to your developer preview — or something similar from its end to make the device capable of receiving the update; or two, reset your phone using Nokia Recovery Tool. It will remove the developer preview and take your device back to Windows Phone 8.
The update is also rolling out in Taiwan, Finland, and Hungary. For those who are still waiting for the update to arrive in their region, sweat not, it will eventually get there!
