At the Windows 10 Mobile October event, Microsoft didn’t only launch the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL, but also the budget-friendly Lumia 550. After introducing the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL, Microsoft India has launched the budget-friendly Lumia 550 in India carrying an INR 9,399 price tag ($140) in both black and white color options.
The handset is the cheapest Windows 10 Mobile handset, and comes with a decent set of specifications on board. For $140, users can grab a handset with the 4.7-inch display boasting a resolution of 1280 by 720 pixels, a quad-core Snapdragon 210 processor paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage.
There’s a microSD card slot of users who are looking for expandable storage, as well as a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front-facing camera. Unfortunately, the handset doesn’t bring support for Continuum feature, which allows users to use their smartphones as a full-fledged PC using the Display Dock.
