Lumia 530 takes on various budget Android devices, touted as 'the best-value smartphone around'

In a new video uploaded to Nokia’s YouTube page, Microsoft is touting the brand new Lumia 530 is the ‘best-value smartphone around.’ In fact, Microsoft even compares the Lumia 530 to various budget Android devices like the Moto E and Samsung Galaxy Ace.

Clearly the Lumia 530 was intended as an entry-level budget-friendly Windows Phone 8.1 device. In this new video advertisement, the company is pushing the device as a superior option in comparison to various older budget-friendly Android devices.

The Nokia Lumia 530 is yet another entry-level handset powered by the Windows Phone 8.1 operating system. The hardware isn’t too difference when compared with the Lumia 630, except that it comes with a 4-inch display sporting a resolution of 854 by 480 pixels.

There’s 512MB of RAM with 4GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, a 5MP camera, a 1,430 mAh battery and comes with a quad-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon 200 chipset under the hood. It also comes with both single and dual-SIM flavors.

We’ve embedded the video below for your viewing pleasure. The device goes on sale worldwide in August.
