LOL: Analyst claims Microsoft and Apple will 'merge' in the next five to ten years

Looking for a good chuckle? Then read this story. According to an “analyst” from some company named Money Map Press, Microsoft and Apple will “merge” sometime in the next five to ten years to battle Google and Facebook. Lets dive deeper into what this analyst has to say, for entertainment value.

“This is one of those unthinkable but absolutely possible deals. I think that Apple and Microsoft may not only have to work together for the next few years but may even see a merger in the next five to ten years from now because they’re going to have to take on the Google/Android/Facebooks of the world,” Keith Fitz-Gerald of Money Map Press said in an interview.

Of course, the government would never allow such a merger (or would they?) but Fitz-Gerald acknowledged that his idea was pure speculation. However, Fitz-Gerald kept pushing towards the idea as a possibility.

“Look at what Apple wants to accomplish with the mobile market. You look at the one Microsoft initiative. And you look at the cross-pollinization of devices. Content is king. Security is king. And you’ve got a user base between the Millennials and the senior citizens who have to have easy-to-use, functional stuff that is transparent between devices,” he added.

Now, it makes sense for two tech giants to work together towards a common goal, but to actually merge together? That’s absurd. But this “analyst” wont change his mind and firmly believes this merger will eventually happen.

You can head over to the VIA link below to listen to Fitz-Gerald speak about his theory. Try not to spill your coffee from laughing.
