Live Lock Screen Beta for Windows Phone 8.1 now available for testing, download it now!

We’ve been teased and promised that the Live Lock screen app for Windows Phone would soon be available. The wait is now over, and you can finally download the highly-anticipated app.

“Want to truly personalize your lock screen? Live lock screen lets you choose from 6 new lock screen layouts to add a distinctive touch to your Windows Phone. Each layout has a revamped design for the time, date, and notifications, as well as a unique unlock animation. You can also cycle through multiple background images throughout the day to keep your lock screen fresh – or just get the latest incredible image from Bing every morning,” the app description reads.

As the app description mentions, you can choose from six new lock screen layouts or cycle though multiple background images. The new lock screens feature a redesigned layout for the time, date, and notifications, along with a unique unlock animation.

The app requires Windows Phone 8.1 at a minimum of 1GB of RAM. We are hearing that this app will install on devices that have 512MB RAM, but expect to see performance issues.

You can snag it via the download link below. Remember, it is Beta software, so there is bound to be some bugs.
