A little more than a month ago, the leading professional social network LinkedIn announced LinkedIn Learning, a premium on-demand e-learning platform that aims to help LinkedIn members develop new skills and talent. Following the end of a 30-days free trial, the company announced today the Week of Learning, another free trial that will last through October 30. Starting today, all LinkedIn users can access over over 5,000 courses (including some Office training courses) for free.
In an email announcing the news, LinkedIn CEO Jeff Weiner reiterated that the company’s new initiative will help the company become a true economic graph that gives more opportunities to everyone:

Given the rapidly accelerating rate of innovation in the world, it’s increasingly important for all of us to take advantage of learning experiences that can better prepare us for the career opportunities that are and will be, and not just those that once were.
