Internet Explorer continues to dominate followed by Chrome and Firefox, Internet Explorer 11 still the top browser

Internet Explorer is still the most popular internet browser, according to the latest figures from NetMarketShare, with a 58.94 percent, increasing slightly from 58.49 percent in October. The second and third spot are captured by Chrome and Firefox who are residing at 20.57 and 13.26 percent share respectively.

Let’s take a look at how different versions of the most popular browser are performing. Similar to October, Internet Explorer 11 continues to lead the market with a 25.49 percent market share, rising from 24.05 percent in November. Internet Explorer 8 is still on the second spot, but it’s still following a downward trend, falling from 17.31 percent in October to 15.11 percent. That’s a sharp decline, and could be due to the fact that people are now moving to the latest version of the browser.

As for Internet Explorer 10, it also rose from 6.09 to 7.54 percent in the month of November. Firefox 32 also saw a sharp decline from 7.61 to 5.99 percent.
