Indian mobile payment app freecharge now takes voice orders

\

FreeCharge is an Indian e-commerce website that allows users to recharge their mobile phones, DTH, and data cards in the country. The service already has a beautiful Windows Phone client, and with an update it rolled out today, it has become more useful. The FreeCharge app for Windows Phone now listens to your queries, allowing you to make recharges and perform other operations over voice commands.

\

You can perform a plethora of operations using voice commands. For instance, you can save voice cards by saying “Save as Voice Card”, and that will do the trick. The company offers more explanation:

\

\

“On completion of any successful transaction on the FreeCharge App for Windows Phone, you will be shown a option to ‘Save as Voice Card’. You can save the voice card by a nick name of your choice, for eg. – “Me”. Or if you are recharging for your friend (say Alok) you can save as “Alok”. That’s it! You can view all your voice cards in the Menu Option. Make sure you have FreeCharge credits available in your account. That makes your recharges fly.”

The updated app also has instructions to help you make your own custom voice commands. You can start using the voice commands by long pressing on the search button followed by your commands. You can snag the app from the download link below.
