Ignite 2021: Outlook gets new time management features on the web and mobile

As Microsoft is about to kick off its digital Ignite conference this morning, the company has several updates for its most popular Microsoft 365 apps, including Microsoft Teams and Outlook. Today, the company is announcing new time management updates for Outlook on the web and mobile, which should help users of the email and calendar app be more organised.

On the web, the Outlook calendar now has a new Calendar board view that can display calendars, files, reminders, and to-do lists all in one place. The new Calendar board free-form view can now be enabled by selecting “Board” from the calendar views drop-down menu.

In addition to this update to Outlook on the web, Microsoft has also started rolling out suggested times in Outlook for iOS and Android. This feature will help users find the best times to create a meeting by analysing times when participants will be available, all while taking into account the meeting owner’s existing commitments.

You can learn more about these latest Outlook updates on the Outlook blog. Microsoft also announced new updates for Microsoft Teams this morning, and you can learn more details in our separate post.
