The HP Spectre has been a top-rated consumer laptop over the past few years and HP’s latest iteration continues to build on that growing mindshare with the HP Spectre x360 13.

The HP Spectre x360 13 puts a focal lens on user mobility and security by slimming the overall devices iconic design, cord management while also giving a nod to Windows Hello through IR cameras and fingerprint readers.

The new Spectre has two times the performance of the previous generation and is HP’s first convertible with a quad-core 10th Generation Intel Core processor and Intel Iris Plus Graphics, verified to the target specification and key experiences of Intel’s Project Athena innovation program. The device has up to 22 hours of battery life.

As for trimming the devices overall package, the HP Spectre x360 13 comes with a 90% screen-to-body ratio which allows a much more improved viewing experience while maintaining a form fact many owners have become accustomed to. Other mobility/accessibility features include quick access to ports and switches. The x360 13 put a “Webcam Kill Switch” on the side panel of the device so users can quickly shut down video recording when in tablet mode. The power button has been placed in the back corner of the device for easy access with thumbs, again, in tablet mode.

The x360 13 will be brandished in a “Natural Silver”, “Nightfall Black Copper” or “Poseidon Blue.”

As the name would imply, the x360 13 is a folding laptop that can be converted into a relatively heavy tablet for equations, note-taking or drawing.

Customers will also be greeted with a 4K OLED display with True Black DHR and anti- for videos and image editing as well as 8GB of LPDDR4-3200 SDRAM and 256 GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD, all for the starting price of $,1099 sometime in October 2019.
